Win at Lutterworth

Congratulations on the win yesterday. With 10 players missing through injury or unavailability we started the game with only 13 players reduced to 12 through injury in the second half. You would never have noticed if you didn't know. It is often said that a team deserves a player of the match award but it was never more true than yesterday. The effort, commitment, courage and work rate was tremendous to watch and coupled with excellent organisation and technique showed how much the ladies have improved. It was particularly good to see Gemma back playing and she as captain and Ben the coach should be tremendously pleased. I can only echo the coaches words at the end who told the ladies that he had been playing rugby since the age of 4 and had never been more proud of a set of players.
