Down and out

That's what I've heard from loads of informed sources since around Christmas time. Well guess what? I dont think so. Can anyone name another Staffordshire club who wouldn't give their right arm to have registered the kind of season Longton have. Have a good look around at their envious faces. Our 1st team have retained their position as the highest placed Staffordshire club. We have won the Staffs Cup for the 4th time in a row. The 2's have finished runners up and the 3rds have won their respective merit tables. The ladies have reestablished themselves and our Junior Section is increasing weekly.
Now if we can only start to communicate better and believe in our selves, we could have a brilliant season next year. But dont leave it to someone else, get involved and, as someone once said, ask what you can do for your club, not what your club can do for you.
